Last year, Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin recorded revenues of almost 1.8 million euros, including 1.6 million euros from donations from individuals and companies. This is according to the annual transparency report.
We used the donations to help lifesavers who often put themselves in danger. Firefighters, paramedics and rescue workers were supported with equipment, bandages and ambulances. To support the strained health care system, we provided doctors with urgently needed medicines and modern equipment. Power generators, non-perishable food and hygiene items were purchased for needy families, children's homes and the elderly.
A very heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who supports us with indispensable donations in kind and money. Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin would also be unthinkable without the many volunteers, because everyone here works on a voluntary basis in their free time. And because Russia is still terrorizing the people of Ukraine with bombs and rockets 800 days after the invasion, we are continuing.
Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin is recognized by the tax office as a non-profit organization and has committed itself to Transparent Civil Society Initiative Every year we provide insight into our finances and publish income and expenditure.
