Help for the wounded

We care for the wounded in Germany and organize everything related to their healing. We also support the medical care of soldiers and civilians directly in Ukraine. The need is huge, because Russia is continuing its merciless war against the people of Ukraine.

Support and bureaucratic assistance

Since 2014, our volunteers have been caring for injured Ukrainian soldiers who receive medical treatment in Berlin and Brandenburg. With Russia's attack on the whole of Ukraine, the federal and state governments took over the evacuation to Germany.

But once they arrive here, the heroes face major bureaucratic hurdles. We help them navigate the jungle of forms at social welfare offices, job centers and health insurance companies. Once the inpatient treatment is complete, we arrange accommodation so that the patients can receive outpatient care or organize their return to Ukraine. We have already been able to support more than 50 wounded people and their families in this way.

Medical aid in Ukraine

We also support medical care directly in Ukraine. Victims of air raids and soldiers there often suffer from complicated bone fractures. Without surgical intervention, the result would be lifelong nerve damage, misalignment and constant pain.

To help these people get healthy again and lead a normal life, we support Ukrainian doctors with urgently needed materials and implants.

Bone surgery and 3D implants

Surgeons use medical screws, plates and nails to reassemble broken bones. This so-called osteosynthesis requires all types of implants in large quantities in Ukraine.

In some injuries, however, the bones are so badly shattered that they can only be replaced with specially manufactured 3D implants. To do this, high-quality titanium powder is melted and applied layer by layer using a 3D printer. This creates individual jaw, joint and skull implants.

Donations for bone replacement

Due to Russia's brutal war, the need for osteosynthesis materials is enormous. We are collecting donations to purchase them so that the many seriously injured can be cared for.

We support the production of individual implants by purchasing the titanium powder for 3D printing. Engineers work voluntarily and hand in hand with the treating surgeons to process the material into finished 3D implants. The bone replacement costs an average of 500 euros - a small price to pay for a dignified life without pain.
