The healthcare system in Ukraine is under enormous pressure. Many medications and medical supplies are unavailable. Through the 'For Doctors in Ukraine' project, we support doctors with vital medical supplies.
Since Russia's invasion, the medical emergency in Ukraine has never been greater. That's why we in the 'For Doctors in Ukraine' project are in constant contact with doctors on site. This way, we find out directly which medical equipment and medicines are currently most urgently needed.
Affordable medication procurement
Thanks to a long-standing partnership, Ukraine Aid Berlin has access to one of the largest pharmaceutical warehouses in Germany. Through the hospital supplier antares-apotheke Pharma Service in Hamburg, we procure medications for Ukraine at the lowest possible prices. Their medical experts also support us with time-critical requests and highly specialized drugs.
Well-rehearsed medical logistics
From Berlin, we handle all customs formalities and transport to Ukraine. This has enabled us to organize hundreds of precisely needed deliveries to Ukrainian hospitals, clinics, and medical practices. On-site, volunteers from our Ukrainian partner organizations deliver the aid supplies directly to the doctors and nurses.
