Help for the seriously injured

We care for the wounded in Germany and organize everything related to their recovery. We also directly support the medical care of soldiers and civilians in Ukraine. The need is immense, as Russia continues its merciless war against the people of Ukraine unabated.

Support and assistance with bureaucracy

Since 2014, our volunteers have been caring for injured Ukrainian soldiers receiving medical treatment in Berlin and Brandenburg. Since Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the federal and state governments have taken on the evacuation of over 1,000 wounded soldiers to Germany. However, upon arrival, they face significant bureaucratic hurdles. We help them navigate the maze of forms at social welfare offices, job centers, and health insurance companies. Once their inpatient treatment is complete, we arrange accommodation so they can receive outpatient care or organize their return to Ukraine. We have already been able to support more than 50 wounded soldiers and their families in this way.

Medical aid in Ukraine

We also provide direct medical support in Ukraine. Victims of airstrikes and soldiers there frequently suffer from complicated bone fractures. Without surgical intervention, lifelong nerve damage, deformities, and constant pain would be the result.

To enable these people to recover their health and lead a normal life, we support Ukrainian doctors with urgently needed materials and implants.

Bone surgery and 3D implants

Surgeons use medical screws, plates, and nails to reassemble shattered bones. In Ukraine, large quantities of all types of implants are needed for this procedure, known as osteosynthesis.

In some injuries, however, the bones are so severely shattered that they can only be replaced with specially manufactured 3D-printed implants. For this, high-quality titanium powder is melted and applied layer by layer using a 3D printer. This process creates customized jaw, joint, and skull implants.

Donations for bone replacement

Russia's brutal war has created an enormous need for osteosynthesis materials. We are collecting donations to procure these materials so that the many seriously injured can receive treatment.

We support the production of customized implants by purchasing titanium powder for 3D printing. Engineers, working on a voluntary basis and in close collaboration with the treating surgeons, process the material into finished 3D-printed implants. The bone replacement costs an average of 500 euros – a small price to pay for a dignified life free from pain.
