With another delivery of relief supplies to Kyiv, we were able to supply a hospital and refugees. In addition, a donated van is helping with the evacuation of the wounded. In detail:

  • A nursing home in Berlin has given us 13 nursing beds, 16 bedside tables and 10 anti-decubitus mattresses. This extensive donation in kind was received by Clinical Hospital No. 8 in Kyiv.
  • In addition, there are 13,000 disposable medical gloves that were donated by the Senate Department for Science, Health and Care in Berlin.
  • 1,000 high-quality sleeping bags for sub-zero temperatures will be handed out to internally displaced persons, the elderly and people with poor electricity and heat supplies.
  • We handed over a donated VW T4 minibus to our Ukrainian partner organization Initiative E+. The vehicle will be used to evacuate the wounded.

The Ukrainian Orthodox Church community once again supported us with the transport, the local distribution was organized by the E+ initiative and the car was transported by Yuliia Kostetska and Andrej Mauch.

Russia is terrorizing the population in Ukraine with targeted attacks on civilian facilities such as hospitals. The war means that the strained health system has to care for thousands of additional patients. That is why we continue to support doctors, paramedics and rescue workers with our aid projects.

Together with Ukrainian partners and health experts, we have compiled this list of humanitarian and medical supplies:

List of urgently needed donations in kind
