Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin has delivered 20 emergency power generators to border regions of Ukraine severely affected by the war. Russian airstrikes repeatedly disrupt the power supply there.
The generators will benefit local authorities, emergency shelters, and people in remote locations. They are also intended to maintain communication between emergency responders. This delivery of relief supplies has improved emergency power supplies in the Volyn region of northwestern Ukraine at several locations in Kovel, Ratne, Shatsk, and the surrounding area.
The devices came from a fundraising campaign in Germany for the non-profit Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin. We procured the generators, transported them to western Ukraine, and distributed them there with the help of partner organizations.
For years, Russia has been attacking residential areas and civilian infrastructure in Ukraine with drones and missiles. Internally displaced persons, children, and the elderly are particularly affected by the terror and the energy crisis.
That's why Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin is continuously supplying generators and power storage units. However, because Russia continues to escalate its campaign against the people of Ukraine, the need remains enormous. We therefore continue to call for Donate Every donation helps provide more people in Ukraine with light and warmth.
