Border regions supported in emergency power supply

Ukraine Aid Berlin has delivered 20 emergency generators to border regions of Ukraine heavily affected by the war. Russian airstrikes repeatedly cripple the power supply there.

The generators will benefit local authorities, emergency shelters, and people in remote areas. They will also help maintain communication between emergency responders. This shipment of aid has improved emergency power supplies at several locations in Kovel, Ratne, Shatsk, and the surrounding area in the Volyn region of northwestern Ukraine.

The equipment came from a fundraising campaign in Germany for the benefit of the non-profit Ukraine Aid Berlin. We procured the generators, transported them to western Ukraine, and distributed them there with the help of partner organizations.

For years, Russia has been attacking residential areas and civilian infrastructure in Ukraine with drones and missiles. Internally displaced persons, children, and the elderly are particularly suffering from the terror and the energy crisis.

Therefore, Ukraine Aid Berlin is continuously delivering generators and energy storage systems. However, because Russia continues to escalate its campaign against the people of Ukraine, the need remains extremely high. We therefore continue to appeal for donations. Donate Every bit of support helps to provide more people in Ukraine with light and warmth.
