Aid operations and solidarity events for Ukraine

In recent weeks, Ukraine Aid Berlin has organized numerous relief efforts, supported projects on the ground, and collected donations at events. This has allowed us to provide targeted support to hospitals, care facilities, families, and children in Ukraine.

Aid deliveries:

  • Thanks to the Prenzlauer Berg Senior Citizens' Foundation, we were able to deliver 31 nursing beds and extensive medical supplies to hospitals and social institutions in Ukraine.
  • School classes in Poltava have received emergency backpacks filled with everything the children need if they have to stay in air-raid shelters. The Rotary Club of Poltava helped us with the distribution.
  • Our Ukrainian partner organization Initiative E+ has distributed numerous food packages and other essential daily goods to families in need to ensure basic supplies.
  • To mark Adoption Day, we supported a children's project in Pryjutiwka. Through art therapy and creative activities, the children were able to express their feelings and develop self-confidence.

Solidarity events:

  • On October 27th, the „Mariupol Drama“ was performed at the Berlin Theater im Delphi, accompanied by a photo project documenting the fates of people in the war zone.
  • On October 29th, the Delphi Filmpalast in Berlin screened the film “Shards of Light” about the Ukrainian city of Bucha after its liberation. Afterwards, politicians and experts discussed Europe's role in supporting Ukraine.
  • On August 25th, the Association of Benefactors of Ukraine The "Charity Germany for Ukraine" award ceremony took place in Berlin to honor people and initiatives in Germany that are committed to helping Ukraine. Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin was awarded first place in the "Ukrainians for their Homeland" category.

In the coming weeks, we will continue our series of solidarity events – for example, we invite you to the benefit concert “Cultural Forces” on November 4, 2025.
