We were able to procure a logistics truck for the fire department in Nikopol. Firefighters from the southern Ukrainian city picked up the vehicle, fully fueled and loaded with relief supplies, in Berlin last week. After a journey of over 2,000 kilometers, the helpers have now arrived safely with their new emergency vehicle.
Nikopol is located directly on the Dnipro. The city is constantly being shelled by Russian troops from the other side of the river. As a result, the firefighters are working almost non-stop to save people's lives, putting their own lives in danger in the process.
