Over the Christmas holidays, we were able to place a large order for a total of 3,100 tourniquets. Our Ukrainian partners at the Leleka Foundation procured these life-saving tourniquets directly from the manufacturer, SICH. Tourniquets from this Ukrainian producer are certified and have proven to be highly reliable.
This important delivery was made possible thanks to the nationwide #TQ4UA fundraising campaign by the political scientist. Jessica Berlin. Thanks to her initiative, the majority of the 43,000 euros needed for this order was quickly raised.
Delivery will begin shortly, as the need remains high. Every tourniquet saves a life and is therefore part of the personal equipment of all defenders in Ukraine. The shipment will also be used to replenish emergency backpacks and first-aid kits for paramedics and emergency physicians.
