Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin supported a two-day summer camp for 100 children in the central Ukrainian city of Olexandrija and covered the costs of food and drinks.
The entertainment offered the children a chance to take a break from their war-torn everyday lives and make new friends. Working in teams of little master chefs, they created many original and tasty meals using randomly selected ingredients. We would like to thank all the helpers and supporters who made this welcome change possible.
We were also able to improve the equipment of the “Living Pearl” orphanage in Onufriyivka. The small town in the middle of Ukraine is about half an hour's drive from Kremenchuk. We bought a modern hot water tank and shelving systems for the preschool and school-age children living there.
