Many regions near the front in Ukraine are difficult to reach, but people there still need to be fed. That is why we are supporting a project run by volunteers who produce long-lasting meals. Without the need for complex technology, the women preserve ready-made meals in preserving jars. This means that many people can be fed using simple means. This help was made possible by a donation from Austrian-German Society Berlin-Brandenburg.
In addition, our partners from the Initiative E+ We received a large quantity of chest plasters from Kyiv, which are distributed to paramedics. We ordered the special bandages directly from the US manufacturer North American Rescue. They are vital for survival in the event of wounds to the chest or abdominal cavity.
We have provided the Center for Mental Health in Worsel with important medication for medical and psychological rehabilitation. These are needed primarily for the treatment of the many patients who suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of the war. The Lions Club Grevenbroich has supported this aid delivery financially and thanks to Antares Pharma Services We were able to purchase the medicines cheaply from Hamburg.
