Two additional ambulances from Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin have recently begun supporting rescue workers in central and eastern Ukraine. One of the vehicles is stationed at the municipal hospital in Poltava. The second ambulance has been deployed to the Donetsk region, which is currently under attack, since this week.
Both ambulances were loaded with medical equipment and relief supplies. We were able to organize the transport in cooperation with our partners from the E+ initiative in Kyiv and the Berlin Customs Agency.
We also helped the children's hospital in Poltava with a large shipment of medications and vitamin supplements. Many children in Ukraine suffer from malnutrition, which jeopardizes their development.
Furthermore, the Anatoly Kukoba Foundation in Poltava has received a defibrillator. This will allow students to practice cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in first aid courses.
Since September 2024 alone, Russian airstrikes on Poltava have killed 65 people and injured over 300. The situation in Ukraine remains critical, and the need for medical aid is enormous. You can support our volunteer aid deliveries with a donation.
