Ukraine Aid Berlin has been able to implement several urgently needed aid projects in Ukraine in recent weeks. The focus was on medical care, winter relief, and support for rescue workers.
Three large generators were procured for a hospital in Lviv to maintain medical care despite ongoing power and heating outages. Temperatures in many regions are below -10 degrees Celsius. This aid was made possible through donations and the support of Olimptrans.
Furthermore, we transferred fire engine number 11 to the Sumy region. There, it supports rescue workers in recovering people from rubble and extinguishing fires after Russian attacks – often under fire.
Civilian aid was also expanded: In Chernivtsi, refugees from eastern Ukraine received 700 sets of thermal underwear made in Ukraine. In addition, 2,000 packages containing hygiene products and small gifts were distributed to care facilities and senior citizens.
As part of the ongoing TQ4UA fundraising campaign Thanks to Jessica Berlin, 2,346 high-quality tourniquets were procured in 2025. Together with the Leleka Foundation, these were distributed to Ukrainian paramedics. A tourniquet costs 14 euros and can save lives in an emergency.
