Thanks to numerous donations and generous support from companies, we were able to deliver additional relief supplies to Ukraine, which has been affected by the Russian war of aggression, for Christmas. The donations, worth several hundred thousand euros, will benefit children, rescue workers and hospitals.
cancer drugs for 190,000 euros
The pharmaceutical company Onkovis has donated medicines worth 190,000 euros. The urgently needed drugs will go to three medical facilities: the Feofania Hospital in Kyiv, the Regional Oncology Hospital in Kyiv and the Oncology Center in Cherkasy. The drugs are intended to improve the treatment of people with cancer.
Backpacks for Children in Odessa
We have provided materials for 700 children's emergency backpacks for five schools and a daycare center in Odessa. The colorful backpacks contain drinking bottles, snack boxes, cuddly toys, coloring books, pens and toys. The children need these backpacks when they spend hours seeking refuge from Russian attacks in air raid shelters. We were also able to hand over winter clothing and warm underwear to children at a school in Ivanivka.
Toys for the little ones
We sent large deliveries of toys to kindergartens and social institutions in the western Ukrainian towns of Rivne, Hoshcha, Yasynynychi and Yaremche. The donations are particularly benefiting children who have lost their parents in the war or who are growing up in difficult circumstances. We have received local support from the Ukrainian aid organization "International Social Protection Fund". The delivery of further packages for the Christmas season is currently in full swing.
Evacuation vehicles save lives
With 64,000 euros from the latest fundraising campaign by video blogger Torsten Heinrich, we were able to transport 15 used evacuation vehicles to Ukraine. There, the all-terrain vehicles are being used in the contested regions of Sumy, Donetsk and Zaporizhia to bring the wounded to safety. So far, Heinrich's fundraising campaigns have enabled us to purchase seven ambulances, two fire engines and 29 evacuation vehicles, which have already saved numerous lives. The current fundraising campaign for further urgently needed rescue vehicles is running until January 4, 2025, and you can support them immediately.
