At the beginning of July, we delivered training material for first aid training for children and young people to Zmiïv in the Kharkiv region. We also brought life-saving aids such as tourniquets. These have proven to be very effective, especially for injuries caused by explosions, but their use must be practiced. In April, we had already delivered 100 of these Binding systems for training purposes delivered to Ukraine.
These trainings are necessary because Russia continues to attack cities and civilian facilities throughout Ukraine with kamikaze drones and missiles.
From the beginning of the Russian war of aggression until the end of June 2023, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights 535 children killed and 1,095 injured in Ukraine. According to the UN, over 90 percent of the civilian casualties were caused by explosions.
