In cooperation with our British colleagues, we handed over 58 boxes of firefighting equipment to the SES (State Emergency Service of Ukraine). The boxes contained firefighting and rescue equipment for the state rescue service. These were sent to Ukraine by the Orthodox Church Volunteer Center in Berlin. The work of the rescuers on the ground is indescribable; they pull people out from under the rubble, extinguish fires after enemy fire and provide assistance to those in need. Every piece of equipment saves lives and we are grateful to our British colleagues who helped make this necessary delivery possible.
