Winter is posing extreme problems for the people of Ukraine: Russia is deliberately destroying the energy infrastructure and putting millions of people in need. Power and heating outages are the order of the day. Our relief supplies are bringing light and warmth back.
Generators against the cold
To help people during the icy winter months, Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin is supplying generators and energy storage units. The electricity is used to supply warm tents that provide protection from the cold and warm meals. In addition, our emergency power units are helping rescue workers and displaced families. We have already supplied over 350 vital generators.

Medical facilities are also affected by the attacks. Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin has provided powerful emergency power generators for several hospitals and children's rehabilitation clinics. They ensure the energy supply to operating rooms, intensive care units and other critical areas so that lives can be saved even under extreme conditions.
Help with candles
In another project, we are using the raw materials we supply to enable the production of thousands of tin candles. They provide light and warmth for defenders and civilians who often have to endure the destruction of their homes. Volunteers from Kyiv make the candles and bring them directly to those in need. In the cold and dark winter months, they are the only source of warmth for many - and thus life-saving.
