In recent weeks, Ukraine Aid Berlin has been able to dispatch further vital aid supplies. Thanks to close cooperation with our local partner, the organization "Social Protection" in Rivne, the support reaches people and hospitals directly on the ground.
Part of the shipment is going to the regional hospitals in Hoshcha and Zdolbuniv. Both facilities admit evacuees and internally displaced persons from the war zones daily. We provided a total of 15 boxes of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals weighing over 220 kg for their treatment. The shipment included various infusion solutions and medical equipment such as nasal cannulas, protective finger cots, and specialized compresses. The medical supplies were supplemented with urgently needed nursing equipment such as catheters, bandages, and diapers.
In addition to providing hospital care, another focus was on direct aid for internally displaced persons, needy and large families, and children with physical and mental disabilities. To facilitate the daily care of these individuals, 11 boxes containing more than 160 kg of hygiene products were donated. Families in need also received 80 kg of well-preserved children's clothing, toys, and art supplies.
