Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin eV is a non-profit organization that supports people in need in Ukraine. We stand for openness, honesty and transparency. That is why we have committed ourselves to Transparent Civil Society Initiative of Transparency International Germany and provide insight into our work.

Our goals

  • Promoting public health, particularly in Ukraine.
  • The promotion of youth and elderly care, especially in Ukraine.
  • The promotion of aid for war victims, war survivors, war disabled persons and
  • Prisoners of war, disabled civilians and people with disabilities, especially in Ukraine.
  • Promoting rescue from life-threatening situations, particularly in Ukraine.
  • The promotion of international spirit, tolerance in all areas of culture and the idea of international understanding.

Our work

  • Demand assessment in Ukraine,
  • humanitarian aid in the form of donations in kind for hospitals, orphanages, old people’s homes, schools and other social institutions in Ukraine,
  • humanitarian aid for war victims and their families in the form of donations in kind and money,
  • Procurement of goods for humanitarian aid in Germany,
  • Organisation and implementation of fundraising campaigns

after the last one we received Exemption notice from the Tax Office for Corporations I, Berlin (Tax number 27/679/52409) from July 27, 2022 for the assessment period 2019 to 2021 is exempt from corporation tax according to Section 5 Paragraph 1 No. 9 of the Corporation Tax Act and from trade tax according to Section 3 No. 6 of the Trade Tax Act because our work serves exclusively and directly charitable purposes.
