A much-needed shipment of bed linen from Berlin has arrived in central Ukraine. The aid is currently being distributed in villages with emergency shelters around the city of Oleksandriya. Internally displaced persons and those in need – including families, the elderly, and children – will particularly benefit.
The bedding was purchased by Ukraine Aid Berlin at a significantly reduced price thanks to donations. We are continuously appealing to companies and individuals for support with in-kind donations to combat the growing hardship in Ukraine. With every town and village devastated by Russia, more people are left homeless. New bedding for children and adults is urgently needed – either from overproduction or with minor defects, but in good, usable condition.
