We have provided the fire department in Kherson with a new thermal imaging device. This allows the emergency services to rescue people from burning buildings who would not be visible to the naked eye in the thick smoke.
Kherson is located directly on the front line and was occupied by Russian troops until its liberation in November 2022. Since then, life-saving equipment, operational clothing and gloves have been in short supply. We have already procured three fully equipped fire engines for various fire departments in Ukraine and continue to collect donations.
