Thanks to donations, we were able to procure further aid supplies for our emergency rations project and send them to Ukraine.
The children's rehabilitation center and the home for people with disabilities in Shostka, in northeastern Ukraine, each received a drinking water filter. We donated these facilities to [organization name/project name]. a previous aid delivery already supplied with shelf-stable food and hygiene products.
In the far south, in the contested Kherson region, the drinking water supply is generally strained. There, many villages are separated from the Russian-occupied territory on the left bank only by the Dnieper River. For the villages of Novooleksandrivka, Chervone, and Zolota Balka, we were able to provide drinking water together with our partner organization. Communities Revival Provide water treatment stations and water reservoirs. This will allow the scarce drinking water to be treated, stored, and distributed.
Furthermore, in November we delivered 21 boxes of food together with the Ukrainian Orthodox Church community.
For 22 months now, Russia has been waging a brutal war against the people of Ukraine. The occupiers are deliberately targeting energy and water supplies. With the help of donations, we are delivering water filters and ready-made meals to people in need in Ukraine.
