Drinking water for children, disabled people and frontline areas

With donations we were able to procure additional relief supplies for our emergency rations project and send them to Ukraine.

The children's rehabilitation center and the home for the disabled in Shostka, in the north-east of Ukraine, each received a drinking water filter. We have supported these facilities at a previous aid shipment already supplied with non-perishable food and hygiene products.

In the very south, in the contested region of Kherson, the drinking water supply is generally strained. There, many places are only separated from the Russian-occupied area on the left bank by the Dnieper. For the towns of Novooleksandrivka, Chervone and Solota Balka, we were able to provide water for the affected areas together with our partner organisation Community Revival Provide water treatment stations and water containers so that scarce drinking water can be treated, stored and distributed.

In addition, in November we delivered 21 boxes of food together with the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

Russia has been waging an inhumane war against the people of Ukraine for 22 months. The occupiers are also deliberately attacking the energy and water supplies. With the help of donations, we are bringing water filters and ready-made food to people in need in Ukraine.
