Since Russia's invasion troops invaded the entire Ukraine, the World Health Organization (WHO) almost 1,700 attacks on rescue workers. Ambulances supplied by Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin were also shot at and people lost their lives.
To better protect paramedics and the wounded, we are helping to procure materials for camouflage nets. This will protect ambulances and evacuation vehicles from the criminal attacks of the occupiers. These nets are an important contribution to protecting the lives of those who risk their own lives every day to help others.
With the donations for our Aid project for vehicle procurement We have already handed over 58 evacuation vehicles, 23 ambulances and 6 fire engines to lifesavers in Ukraine.
