We were able to provide non-perishable food and clean water for 291 elderly people in the Kherson and Nikopol regions. The towns are close to the front lines and are often the target of Russian attacks.
In Ukraine, many people have no means of obtaining food or preparing meals. Often these are elderly people who have little mobility and need to be cared for at home.
Together with the initiative Save Peace we bring in Emergency ration aid project non-perishable ready meals, drinking water and water filters in hard-to-reach areas. We financed 1,455 rations for this aid delivery with donations.
