Over the Christmas holidays we were able to organize a large order for a total of 3,100 tourniquets. Our Ukrainian partners from the Leleka Foundation purchased the life-saving tourniquets directly from the manufacturer SICH. Tourniquets from the Ukrainian manufacturer are certified and have proven to be very reliable.
This important delivery was made possible thanks to the nationwide #TQ4UA donation campaign by political scientist Jessica BerlinThanks to their initiative, the majority of the 43,000 euros for this order was quickly collected.
Delivery will begin shortly, as demand is still high. Each tourniquet saves a human life and is therefore part of the personal equipment of all defenders in Ukraine. The delivery will also be used to refill the emergency backpacks and first aid kits of paramedics and emergency doctors.
On Betterplace is collecting donations because Russia continues its campaign of destruction with undiminished severity and reliable medical supplies are urgently needed.
