Thanks to the support of our donors, we were able to deliver a large amount of medical aid to Ukraine again in recent weeks. On the ground, volunteers, such as our partners from the E+ initiative in Kyiv, are handling the distribution to hospitals, paramedics, and doctors.

The latest medical aid shipment consisted of 32 boxes and went to a hospital in Kyiv. It included:

  • Catheters and medications,
  • Bandages, surgical masks and drainage systems,
  • as well as physiological solutions and postoperative nutrition.

An ophthalmic instrument and a wheelchair were part of another shipment.

At the request of a hospital in the southern Ukrainian city of Kherson, we also delivered 600 packages of the drug Smecta and 500 boxes of the preparation Almagel. In addition, absorbent dressings were distributed to 15 medical facilities in and around Kherson.

In recent weeks, we have also provided further medical supplies for the initial care of the wounded, including:

  • Infusion systems, infusion solutions and oxygen cylinders,
  • Syringes, gloves and blood type tests
  • as well as other medical aids.

Furthermore, the Red Cross of Ukraine Prostheses procured by us are handed over to specialists who take care of the rehabilitation of injured persons.
