Together with fire departments from Germany, we are supporting rescue workers in the war-torn south of Ukraine. We have now been able to purchase a used crew transport vehicle from the town of Warstein.
The Warstein firefighters also sent a lot of useful equipment with their colleagues in Ukraine. This included turnout gear and first-aid supplies when the vehicle was transported. We were also able to take rescue equipment, such as a hydraulic power unit with cutters and spreaders.
With these donations in kind, the firefighters from Warstein are supporting their colleagues in the fire departments of Nikopol and Kherson. Both cities are located in the immediate vicinity of the Russian-occupied territory. The lifesavers are constantly extinguishing fires, rescuing people from the rubble of their homes, and providing first aid.
Many thanks to Vitali Olijnik, Donat Ahle, Carsten Schannath, Christian Clewing, Ініціатива Е+, Yuliia Kostetska, Zollagentur Berlin Inh. David Lambrecht and many others who made this campaign possible.
This vehicle is already the fourth fire engine we have been able to transfer to Ukraine. For our Aid project to procure rescue vehicles We are continuing to collect donations.
