Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin eV, together with Plast Berlin Helps and Vitsche Berlin, has sent the next batch of first aid kits to Ukraine.

1,125 NATO-standard "IFAK" medical kits (worth approximately €150,000) and 13 paramedic backpacks (worth approximately €26,000) are en route to Ukraine. This has required an incredible amount of resources, and not just material ones; above all, human resources: the tireless work of dedicated volunteers, our friends.

The kits contain, among other things, tourniquets to stop blood loss from large wounds, cooling pads, gauze bandages, triangular bandages, compresses, saline solution, and paracetamol. We don't like to talk about numbers when it comes to human lives, but we'll mention one anyway: 2,500 to 4,500 lives potentially saved thanks to these first-aid kits.

Thanks to everyone who is there to help.
