Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin eV, together with Plast Berlin Helps and Vitsche Berlin, has sent the next batch of first aid kits to Ukraine.

1,125 NATO-standard "IFAK" medical bags (worth around €150,000) and 13 paramedic backpacks (worth around €26,000) are on their way to Ukraine. This required an incredible amount of resources, and not just material ones; above all, human resources: the tireless work of committed volunteers, our friends.

The kits contain tourniquets to stop blood loss from large wounds, ice packs, gauze bandages, triangular bandages, compresses, saline solution and paracetamol. We don't like to talk about numbers when it comes to human lives, but we'll give you a figure anyway: 2,500 to 4,500 potentially saved lives thanks to these first aid kits.

Thanks to everyone who is there to help.
