Hospital beds, ultrasound machines and children’s backpacks delivered

Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin has provided 65 children from disadvantaged families with school backpacks. The aid was distributed in the regions of Zhytomyr, Kherson and Kyiv. Each backpack contains colored pencils, coloring books, a stuffed animal, a lunch box and a drinking bottle.

We were able to provide urgently needed ultrasound equipment to a hospital in Oster, near Kyiv. Another sonography device was provided to a clinic in Velyki Sorochyntsi in the north-east of Ukraine.

Together with the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, we also loaded another truck with 38 hospital beds, nursing mattresses and bedside tables as well as medicines and sent them to Ukraine. This hospital equipment has now arrived in field hospitals and hospitals of the Ukrainian border guard. Special thanks go to the “Trust of the Nation” foundation from Kharkiv for supporting the logistics on site as well as to Ukraine Hilfe Bad Hönningen and German Food Bridge for the donations.
