At the beginning of April, Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin was able to supply five children's homes and rehabilitation centers in and around Rivne, as well as in the Alexandria Kirovograd region, with comprehensive aid deliveries. These included hygiene products, medicines, writing materials, baby food, and cleaning supplies.
The center for disabled children in Shostka and the families in Sponsorship Project They are continuously supported by us and received new deliveries of shelf-stable food and care products in April.
In addition, we have equipped a toy therapy room with craft materials and cuddly toys. These facilities playfully promote children's emotional well-being. At the same time, qualified psychologists support families suffering from the stresses of war.
Furthermore, our volunteers were able to deliver 60 mattresses and mattress toppers, as well as hygiene products and cleaning supplies, to the psychoneurological boarding house in Myrohotscha, a town in western Ukraine. Many patients from the conflict zones are housed there.
These deliveries were made possible by generous contributions from the drugstore chain dm, the International Club of Sly Foxes, and diligent helpers from Berlin and Potsdam.
