Viewers of video bloggers have won a whopping 75,000 euros. Torsten Heinrich Donations were received for evacuation vehicles. Thanks to this generous support, we immediately procured three all-wheel-drive pickup trucks and transported them to Ukraine. There, the off-road vehicles are bringing the wounded to safety and saving lives. Seven more vehicles from this donation drive are expected to follow.
Furthermore, we were able to purchase the second batch of the medication Sabril for 53 children with the rare hereditary disease tuberous sclerosis. Without this medication, the disease leads to severe developmental disorders, epileptic seizures, and organ tumors in these children. Our Ukrainian partner organization, Initiative E+, once again organized the delivery on site.
We have already handed over several vehicles to the fire department of the southern Ukrainian city of Nikopol. Now the firefighters were in Berlin again and picked up a turntable ladder. The vehicle was purchased with donations from the collection of Oleksandra Riabokin and with the support of the E+ initiative. We provided organizational support for the campaign and ensured the vehicle was refueled.
