The Russian invasion also triggered the massive destruction of civilian infrastructure in Ukraine and the starvation of the population. Many people were already living below the poverty line before the war; now they can no longer even provide for their basic needs. You can help by sponsoring people in Ukraine.
Food and medicine
The war is exacerbating the suffering of an entire nation and traumatizing millions of children. The delivery of food, medicine, and other life-saving aid remains difficult and unsafe.
Medical and psychological treatment is also needed locally and is very expensive. An individual sponsorship supports people with humanitarian aid and gives them hope.

Who can help?
Everyone can participate. We facilitate contact between individuals, families, organizations, and companies in Germany and people and institutions in Ukraine. We reliably handle the documentation of the donation and, upon request, provide detailed reports, information, videos, photos, and contact persons.
How can I help?
With a monthly donation of your choice, you support:
25 euros:
a young, sick, disabled, old, female or queer individual,
50-150 euros:
a family in need,
300-500 euros:
a social, educational or medical institution in Ukraine.
You can also make a one-time donation or ask us any questions you may have at your leisure. Organizations and companies can add a unique dimension to their social responsibility through a sponsorship, without any additional effort. We also ensure the continued support of your sponsored individuals through additional fundraising campaigns by the Ukraine Aid Donor Community. You can end your sponsorship at any time without giving a reason. Your donation is tax-deductible, and you will receive a donation receipt.
Who is behind the project?
This project is under the auspices of Ukraine Hilfe Berlin. We have over 10 years of experience in providing humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine, in-depth knowledge of the country and its people, and reliable partners. We offer our sponsors information sessions and organized meetings to facilitate networking and exchange.
Will my help actually reach its intended recipients?
Yes, we will maintain ongoing contact with your sponsored individuals. If desired, direct contact can be established between sponsors and their sponsored individuals or organizations.
Everyone in the sponsorship team works on a voluntary basis.
We choose secure and cost-effective direct transfers to the account of your beneficiaries, carry out transports of in-kind donations to Ukraine and secure support through volunteers from our cooperation partnerships.
