An ambulance donated by us in July (see link here) was fired upon by enemy mortars two weeks ago in southeastern Ukraine while transporting a seriously wounded patient. Unfortunately, two passengers (a medic and the wounded patient) were killed. The ambulance was beyond repair.
Elena Eyngorn was asked for a replacement ambulance and Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin eV was able to procure a used ambulance within a week and have it ready for collection. The vehicle is already on its way to southeast Ukraine to continue evacuating wounded and sick people near the front.
