Support for senior citizens, drone protection and cancer medicine

Ukraine Aid Berlin has delivered further important aid shipments to Ukraine. This time, the focus was on packages containing essential items for senior citizens and people with physical and mental disabilities. The aid reached, among other places, psychosocial facilities in Myrohoshcha, Zdolbuniv, Ostroh, and Rivne, as well as clinics in Zdolbuniv, Pustomyty, and Hoshcha.

Many elderly people in Ukraine have been living in poverty and loneliness since the beginning of the Russian war of aggression. Displacement, the loss of loved ones, and a lack of medicine, food, and heating fuel define their daily lives. Ukraine Aid Berlin delivers medicine, hygiene products, and supplies to combat the cold.

Children in care facilities received small gifts donated during the pre-Christmas period as part of the "Potsdam packs it" campaign.

In addition, we supplied two drone jammers to better protect evacuation and rescue vehicles. Russian troops are systematically committing war crimes in frontline regions by deliberately targeting medics, rescue workers, and civilians with armed drones. The supplied drone jammers disrupt the control of the attack drones and can thus prevent people from being killed during evacuations.

At the end of the year, Onkovis GmbH also provided support with a donation of life-saving oncological drugs worth 120,000 euros, which were distributed to Ukrainian cancer centers.
