Donations totaling €30,000 have enabled us to deliver vital protective equipment to paramedics and rescue workers in Ukraine. A total of 39 body armor vests and 29 helmets were distributed to aid workers in the dangerous front-line zones. We procured the vests and helmets in Germany at a substantial discount. Emergency responders in Ukraine evacuate civilians from conflict zones daily and are often themselves fired upon and attacked by Russian drones. Many rescuers still have to operate without personal protective equipment, which is why we are continuously collecting donations. Donations for this project.
We also continue to support the Ukrainian Civil Protection Agency's emergency response teams with energy storage systems. Due to ongoing Russian attacks, large parts of the energy infrastructure have been destroyed, making emergency services dependent on a reliable emergency power supply. In the video, we accompanied aid workers who, after airstrikes in the metropolis of Kharkiv, are deployed to missions and rely on energy storage systems supplied by us.
Furthermore, we were able to bring a little joy to children in Poltava, eastern Ukraine. Our partner organization distributed numerous board games to orphanages and schools in the city. Many children in Ukraine lost their parents due to Russia's invasion. With our project Hope for Ukrainian Kids We bring emergency backpacks, medicines and toys to the youngest victims of war.
