Protective equipment and toys handed out

Donations totaling 30,000 euros have enabled us to deliver important protective equipment to paramedics and rescue workers in Ukraine. A total of 39 protective vests and 29 helmets were handed out to helpers in the dangerous front areas. We purchased the vests and helmets in Germany at a significant discount. Emergency services in Ukraine evacuate civilians from contested areas every day and are often shot at and attacked by Russian drones. Many rescuers still have to go out without personal protection, which is why we are continuously collecting donations for this project.

We also support the rescue teams from the Ukrainian disaster control agency with power storage units. The ongoing Russian attacks have destroyed large parts of the energy infrastructure, meaning that rescue services are dependent on a reliable emergency power supply. In the video, we accompanied helpers who were deployed to Kharkiv, a city with a population of one million, after air raids and who relied on power storage units supplied by us.

We were also able to bring a little joy to children in Poltava in eastern Ukraine. Our partner organisation distributed numerous board games in orphanages and schools in the city. Many children in Ukraine have lost their parents due to Russia's invasion. With our project Hope for Ukrainian Kids we bring emergency backpacks, medicines and toys to the smallest victims of war.
