We were able to finance 1,000 shelf-stable emergency rations with donations. Each bag contains dehydrated vegetables, enough for 5 liters of soup or borscht. This allows you to quickly prepare 10 meals.
Our aid project for shelf-stable food and clean water It supports the production of such emergency rations in Ukraine. Especially in hard-to-reach places near the front and in emergency shelters, food preparation is not a given.
Emergency food supplies are helpful here because they require no complicated preparation, have a long shelf life, and are easy to transport. This way, ready-made meals quickly reach people who have no other means of food preparation.
We were also able to use smaller water filters financed by donations and send them to Ukraine. This allows them to produce drinking water directly on-site from contaminated water. We purchase the filters from the Swiss manufacturer Katadyn at a preferential price.
