This time, it was a fully equipped fire engine that Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin e.V., with the help of sponsors Docure Dr. Annett Kleinschmidt (Annette Kleinschmidt, Yvonne Perdelwitz, Fernando Freire), handed over to the Khmelnytskyi fire department. The seller, Mr. Hans Schwäble from Gerstetten near Ulm, also collected a considerable amount of equipment as in-kind donations from partner fire departments, which was transported to Ukraine along with the vehicle. The three Khmelnytskyi firefighters received thorough training (local volunteers assisted with interpretation) and then set off for home with a fully operational vehicle (including a full water tank). They have since arrived safely back in Ukraine.
