Cancer drugs have arrived in Lviv

Ukraine Aid Berlin was able to deliver more than 400 vials of highly specialized cancer treatment medication to St. Panteleimon Hospital in Lviv. The shipment was eagerly awaited in the hospital's hematology and bone marrow transplantation department, as the waiting list for affected patients is long.

This drug is used to treat serious cancers such as leukemia or bone marrow cancer. It destroys the diseased cells in the body, thus paving the way for a life-saving transplant of healthy donor cells. We are able to obtain these medications thanks to a cooperation with the hospital supplier antares-apotheke Pharma Service from Hamburg.

Medical care for cancer patients has been extremely hampered by the war. The delivered supplies will now give more than 50 seriously ill people a chance.

We thank all the donors who made these vital medication deliveries possible. Many people in need require life-saving medication that is unavailable in Ukraine. Please help now with a donation.
