We handed over the 26th ambulance to our partner organization, Intsiyativa E+ from Kyiv. On board: urgently needed firefighting equipment, children's clothing, hygiene items, and ambulance spare parts. The vehicle will be used under extremely difficult conditions near the front line for the medical evacuation of wounded and civilians. A big thank you again goes to Andrej Mauch, who dedicates himself to finding, inspecting, registering, and transporting vehicles, as well as to the Berlin Customs Agency for the formal processing.
Another aid project is also running successfully: equipping Ukrainian rescue workers with four-wheel drive quads. In difficult-to-access areas – where conventional vehicles fail – these off-road vehicles are often the only way to rescue the wounded. Thanks to the support of 190 donors, three of the compact four-wheel drive vehicles have been procured and delivered to Ukraine so far.
