Last week, Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin, together with the IT donation organization Labdoo and local partners, was able to bring important aid for children to Odesa, Kyiv and Poltava.
Clothing and laptops were distributed to underprivileged children in rural areas near Odessa. Many students live there who, due to the war, often can only participate in classes online. Several teachers also received laptops. They frequently lack the technical equipment to organize effective distance learning sessions.
In addition, we donated football equipment so that the children could participate in a free sports program designed to help them escape the daily realities of war. A celebration for displaced children was also organized in a district of Odesa – we supported the event with items including cuddly toys.
Furthermore, more of our emergency backpacks have arrived for children in Odessa. The small backpacks are packed with practical items such as a lunchbox, a water bottle, and toys to make the stay in air-raid shelters more comfortable for the youngest children.
We were also able to help in other regions. For example, our partners distributed coloring supplies and small gifts in Kyiv and Poltava for Children's Day.
Since Russia's invasion, Ukraine Aid Berlin has been supporting the project Hope for Ukrainian Kids Children and families in the war-torn country. Thanks to our donors, we can finance school supplies, emergency backpacks, and equipment for social institutions. Please help with a donation. donation, so that this urgently needed support can continue.
