Generators against the cold
To help the many people affected, Ukraine Aid Berlin is supplying generators and energy storage units. The electricity powers heated tents, providing shelter from the cold and hot meals. Our emergency generators also assist rescue workers and displaced families. We have already delivered over 350 vital generators.
Lifesaving electricity supplies hospitals
Medical facilities are also not spared from Russian attacks. Ukraine Aid Berlin has provided high-performance generators to several hospitals and children's clinics. These ensure the power supply to operating rooms, intensive care units, and other critical areas, so that lives can be saved even under extreme conditions.
Help for emergency shelters on site
Due to constant drone and missile attacks, more and more people are being forced to leave their homes near the front lines. In soup kitchens, supply points, and emergency shelters across the country, aid workers are working tirelessly to provide for the displaced. Without electricity, heating, and running water, daily life in these shelters is in danger of collapsing. Therefore, as part of our Winter Relief Ukraine program, we are providing generators and energy storage systems for these shelters.

Thermal clothing provides warmth
As part of our winter relief efforts in Ukraine, we are providing internally displaced persons and those in need with warm thermal clothing. Targeted Russian attacks on infrastructure have caused heating systems to fail in many places, leaving people freezing in unheated apartments or emergency shelters.
We have already distributed thousands of sets of high-quality thermal underwear. What makes this special is that the clothing is manufactured locally in Ukraine. This allows us to not only provide rapid and effective support to people affected by the cold, but also to strengthen the local economy.
Help with tin candles
In another project, we are enabling the production of thousands of tin candles with the raw materials we provide. These candles offer light and warmth to defenders and civilians who often have to endure life in destroyed homes. Volunteers from Kyiv make the candles and deliver them directly to those in need. During the cold and dark winter months, they are the only source of warmth for many – and therefore lifesaving.
