Help with backpacks for school children

·

,

Constant air raids throughout Ukraine not only destroy the power supply, but also make normal school life impossible. Children often have to spend hours in air raid shelters when Russian bombs and missiles are approaching.

To give them a sense of normality and security, we put together emergency backpacks and distributed them to three children's homes and a school in Misotsch, Odessa and Poltava.

Each of the 300 backpacks is equipped with a water bottle, a lunch box, biscuits, wet wipes, toys and other useful items. These backpacks are not only practical helpers in everyday school life, but also a small consolation in what is often a depressing situation.

A welcome change was also a children's chess tournament in Poltava, for which we provided small prizes in the form of toys and sweets.
