Just before the holidays, Ukraine Aid Berlin launched a large-scale aid operation. Our volunteers loaded around 10 tons of relief supplies – including hygiene products, sleeping bags, emergency backpacks, and hundreds of small Christmas gifts for children and those in need.
Part of the truckload consists of gifts donated during the "Potsdam packs it" campaign in the run-up to Christmas.
The aid supplies will be distributed with the support of the Viktor Shcherbachuk Charitable Fund to 16 social, medical and educational institutions, including psychoneurological boarding schools, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, social centers, schools, special schools and dormitories in the regions of Rivne, Zdolbuniv, Ostroh, Hoschtscha, Pustomyty and surrounding areas.
With this aid campaign, we continue to support people in Ukraine who are particularly in need. We owe this support to our donors. Their commitment and solidarity provide concrete help and hope, especially in difficult times.
