With the donation of additional emergency backpacks, Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin is supporting kindergartens and primary schools in Odessa, southern Ukraine. The backpacks are needed when children seek refuge in air-raid shelters from Russian attacks.
Each of the small backpacks contains: a water bottle, non-perishable food, wet wipes, toys, art supplies, and cuddly toys. They are intended to help the children cope better with their time in the shelter and maintain a sense of normalcy.
According to the UN Human Rights Office, at least 669 children were killed and 1,833 injured in Ukraine between February 24, 2022 and December 31, 2024 alone.
In addition to schools, Ukraine Aid Berlin also supports children's homes with hygiene products, household appliances, and toys. Because Russia continues its devastating campaign against the people of Ukraine unabated, these aid supplies are urgently needed. Please help with a donation. donation.
