Thanks to numerous donations collected by video blogger Thorsten Heinrich, Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin was able to transport 31 used delivery and off-road vehicles worth €105,000 to Ukraine in August and September. There, the vehicles are being used as evacuation vehicles for the wounded and civilians, directly contributing to saving lives.
In total, the YouTuber's fundraising campaigns supported the non-profit Ukraine Aid Berlin with €450,000. This enabled us to finance seven ambulances, two fire engines equipped with drone jammers, and 72 rescue vehicles.
Now a New fundraising campaign for vital evacuation vehicles. “That a war lasts long enough to allow for 500 situation reports is not a cause for celebration, but a tragedy,” said Heinrich. “I would therefore like to use this anniversary to raise at least 100 euros per situation report.”
With the delivery of 275 ambulances, fire engines, and pickup trucks, Ukraine Aid Berlin is responding to the ongoing emergency caused by Russia's war of aggression. The vehicles have already saved the lives of hundreds of people. The wounded have been able to receive timely medical treatment, and civilians have been evacuated from the danger zone.
This aid was made possible thanks to thousands of individual donations and the active support of numerous volunteers and partners such as the Berlin Customs Agency, LK Trans and Olimptrans.
