„"In Ukraine, fighting and displacement put millions of children and young people in danger. There are countless heartbreaking stories." #MUSIK_RETTET and #diffusions Since 2015, we have been giving children voices and sounds as well as pictures and colors.
In our exhibition #ARTdespite In the East Side Mall, children and young people from war zones are presenting their artwork. They are beautiful pictures, they are sensitive pictures, they are pictures that wish for peace and want to create peace and encounters.
Our visitors, both young and old, can find a place for artistic experiments with colors and photography in our CREATIVE SPACE at the ARTdespite gallery and be creative themselves for a short moment.
Take an hour and visit our gallery. We offer daily activities such as face and body painting, textile painting, and photo sessions. We provide art and craft materials for creating your own artwork. You can try your hand at musical instruments, browse Ukrainian children's books, and discover new board games together.
ARTdespite is a unique place where art combines with a passion for peace and humanity.
The gallery is always open for creative activities and relaxed get-togethers with tea and pastries. Berliners and refugees meet here.
Our warm and creative team of artists awaits you. We are spontaneous and flexible, and can find ideas for every artistic talent, big or small.
For those of you who are less creative or in a hurry, we offer handmade accessories and souvenirs from Ukraine. Perhaps you're still looking for a Christmas gift?
