In summer 2022, Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin eV was able to support the project thanks to donations from the Berlin School on the Mountain and the cooperation with the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Community support a summer camp for Ukrainian children.
After the previous location for the summer camp was no longer accessible, the children went to the Dniester Gorge, one of the seven natural wonders of Ukraine!
The organizers initially wanted to hold the camp for 20 children who had either lost a parent in the war or whose parents were injured in the war and could no longer support the family. However, after the call, 44 children applied for this camp. The organizers did not want to turn any of the children down, which led to an intensive search for further donations.
The search came to a heartwarming end and was successful! All the children were able to go along and experience a wonderful summer camp together!
